ESDIN - ExM – Large scale (WP 7)

This work package will extend the European data specification (ExM ) based upon the recognition of the mapping from National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies (NMCA’s) schemas, which will be different from country to country. A focus will be put on the pan European aspect, being aware that each NMCA has different schemas, and that the data according to these schemas may fulfil different aspects of the INSPIRE requirements.

The ExM will be extended with land parcels, which are the responsibilities of the NMCA’s.

Version 2 of the ExM data specification for large scale data is now available (Deliverable D7.2). This version is based upon input from 6 NMCA's (France, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway.

This version contains a data specification fully conformant with EN/ISO 19131 (although some clauses are not yet completed), and is a subset of the INSPIRE themes Administrative Units, Cadastral Parcels, Hydrography, Transport network and Geographical names.
